What really is a computer?

What are some parts of a computer?

A computer is an electronic device which accepts input, does some processing and generate output.

It works under the control of programs that are written down using a particular programming language.

Programs-are a set of this written instructions that instruct computer on what to do.

Programming-means a way of converting problems into sub-routine that are easy to test, debug and modify.

Programming language is just the vocabulary of writing programs. it`s like a dictionary of styles and words used.

PARTS OF  COMPUTER

Several parts of the computer make u a computer system.

THIS IS HOW A COMPUTER OPERATES 

>>A user enters data inform of typing in the keyboard, or by using input devices. It then accepts the input(load), does processing by the use of a(CPU)the central processing unit. And then it generates the output through the screen of the monitor or laptop.

EXPLANATION

• Input: Your keyboard and mouse, for example, are just input units—ways of getting information into your computer that it can process. If you use a microphone and voice recognition software, that's another form of input.
• Memory/storage: Your computer probably stores all your documents and files on a hard drive: a huge magnetic memory. But smaller, computer-based devices like digital cameras and cellphones use other kinds of storage such as flash memory cards.
• Processing: Your computer's processor (sometimes known as the central processing unit) is a microchip buried deep inside. It works amazingly hard and gets incredibly hot in the process. That's why your computer has a little fan blowing away—to stop its brain from overheating!
• Output: Your computer probably has an LCD screen capable of displaying high-resolution (very detailed) graphics, and probably also stereo loudspeakers. You may have an inkjet printer on your desk too to make a more permanent form of output.

INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNICATION

COMMUNICATION simply means the exchange of information from one person or devices to another over a given channel. it occurs when two or more parties interact together as a means to exchange information.

we have the sender,the message,the receiver,the media. A lways there is a need to have a complete and most reliable communication.

EXPLANATION

SENDER-Is the person sending the message.

RECEIVER-this is the person or device that receives information.

FEEDBACK-is the message relayed back in the communication channel.

MESSAGE-is the current information to be conveyed.

CHANNEL-this is the medium through which a message is conveyed through.
